I thought custom fonts already worked? And I think firefox already has <audio>?

(Above quantifications exclude IE from the universe of discourse since it'll never do any of this stuff...)

In firefox 3.5, for both - I think. but more i meant in a way that will be universally applicable. (3 years?)

Personally, I can't wait until inline SVG (or similar) becomes the norm for simple graphics.
